Intensive First and Second Degree Reiki course open to all.

This unique, very intensive First and Second Degree Reiki course introduces the basic principles and techniques to those with no prior knowledge of Reiki. Reiki is a safe, natural therapy that promotes healing at all levels by the action of gentle, nurturing energy radiating from the Reiki Practitioner’s hands. Reiki is widely used throughout the world to promote health and personal development. Reiki is a holistic healing approach gently bringing you towards total health of mind, body and spirit. Reiki works by harmonising the mind and emotions and accelerating the healing in the physical body. Through its balancing and strengthening powers, Reiki promotes the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Reiki can help dramatically in the healing of cuts, burns, injuries from sports, stress related illnesses and emotional problems. It can also increase the intuitive and creative abilities.

During the workshop you will learn the correct hand positions to give a full body treatment, you will receive special attunements to enable you to channel the Reiki energy and you will be introduced to techniques for self healing as well. This workshop introduces you to the Reiki symbols (Reiki Two) for increasing your Reiki powers and for sending absent healing to those not available for hands on treatment. You will be introduced to healing with Light and with crystals. You will be taught how to program crystals to assist you in absent healing and you will meet the Reiki guides who are working with you and learn to work with their energies. Upon completion you will be a fully qualified Reiki practitioner and you will receive a certificate.

The class will be led by Marco de Alberdi, Reiki Master. Marco has been fully trained in three major approaches to Reiki and has many years’ experience as a practitioner and teacher. He channels a guide called Ortala and is also a qualified teacher of the Awakening Your Light Body course. His approach is heart centred and spiritual with the emphasis on using Reiki in your day to day life.

We teach all three degrees of Reiki: First degree; Second degree; and the Third/Masters degree. In our experience teaching Reiki I & II in an intensive workshop brings the benefit of enabling students to become Reiki practitioners right away. As we are able to contact the Reiki energy from a very high level of consciousness using the frequencies of the Light Body and beyond we have found that the attunements or initiations are very powerful but also gentle and easily assimilated by the student.

The first degree of Reiki tends to bring a physical clearing and the second degree of Reiki an emotional clearing and we feel the student can benefit from working through these two levels of clearing at the same time.

Some people prefer to take the First degree in one workshop and the Second degree at a later workshop and we can accommodate this easily with the student taking the first day (Reiki One) of one of our intensive workshops and the second day (Reiki Two) at a later workshop.

Reiki can only be taught by a fully initiated Reiki Master and cannot be learnt from books.

Enrolment Information

Reiki classes are limited in size to ensure individual attention for each person. Registration will be at 9.00 am on the first day and we will begin the class promptly at 9.30 am.
