The School offers a wide variety of classes and workshops ranging from How to Teach Meditation, Animal Healing, Reiki Healing to Awakening Your Light Body and the graduate class Light Body class called Radiance. Most of the classes are led by Lita de Alberdi except for the Reiki Healing workshops which are led by Marco de Alberdi.

Lita and Marco have worked together now for many years. Like Lita, Marco is also a psychologist. He spent many years as a Senior Research Manager in Europe, in the last few years he focused on working with TIDE (the Technology initiative for the Disabled and Elderly) as a Senior Consultant to the European Commission.

Now he concentrates on his work as a Reiki Master Healer and teacher in the School of the Living Light. Marco is bilingual and teaches in both English and Spanish. He also speaks reasonable French.

Our booking conditions and terms are outlined below. When you enrol for any class you will be sent full details of how to reach us, anything you may need to bring, times and dates, and an up to date list of places to stay in the area.

How to book
To book a place on any of our courses, simply complete and return a booking form to us along with the payment shown for that course (as a cheque payable to Lita de Alberdi or as a postal order) or enrol online at this website. The course details show the deposit payable for each course. Our courses are very popular so it is always a good idea to book well in advance to be sure of getting a place for the dates that you have chosen. We often add new courses so do keep visiting the website to check what is happening or call us for an up to date information pack or to discuss any queries you might have. Venue
The School of the Living Light reserves the right to change the venue or the date for any class, however, this is very rarely necessary. The School also reserves the right to refuse to enrol applicants for courses without further explanation.

Ashcott, Somerset. The School of the Living Light: Easy to reach but wonderfully peaceful, The School of the Living Light is about two and a half hour’s drive from London or 45 minute’s drive from Bristol. The classes are held in a beautiful country house and grounds situated in the heart of the tranquil Somerset countryside located 15 minutes’ drive from the M5 junction 23. It is very peaceful and because of the energies that have been built up there it is a very good place to meditate and relax in. There are walks in the countryside straight out of the front door and private gardens to relax in if you choose. Delicious vegetarian lunches will be provided each day incorporating organic ingredients whenever possible. Please note that we are unable to cater for special diets.

Travel
We will be pleased to advise you on travel arrangements to any of our venues, just call the office during normal business hours. Many of our Bed and Breakfast proprietors will collect you from the bus or train stations, these are noted on the list you are sent when you enrol. You need to travel to Castle Cary or to Bridgwater stations. We can also sometimes arrange a lift for you to and from the train or bus station, call the office if you would like us to do this for you. Bristol International Airport is about an hour away by car and we can also sometimes help with transfers.

Accommodation
There are many excellent places to stay in this area both in the country or in the town ranging from simple farmhouse bed and breakfast accommodation to luxury hotels. We will send you a list of some of these when you enrol for a class. You will need to allow about £25+ on average per night for bed and breakfast. We will send you directions for finding us when you enrol for a class or a reading with Ortan. There are also many excellent restaurants and country pubs to eat at in the evenings. Glastonbury and Wells offer several organic and vegetarian options for eating out as well as the usual choices like Italian, Indian and English restaurants.

Fees
Deposits are non-returnable and non-transferable. We recommend you take out your own insurance in case you have to cancel through illness or unforeseen circumstances. The balance of the class fee is due two weeks before your course, after this date you will be liable for the full course fee. Fees are not returnable or transferable if you cancel within this period.

Lunches
At the School of the Living Light, only vegetarian food is offered for lunch. Organic ingredients are used as much as possible. We often have a vegan option for the main course, but not always. Regrettably we are unable to cater for specialist diets. If you are on a very restricted diet it might be a good idea to bring some food with you.
