			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Developing Intuition Through Clairvoyance.  </strong>Once you have begun to burrow down through the layers of the personality self and contacted the real, inner self, you may begin to notice that you become aware of talents, creativity and abilities that you had not awareness of before.  Many people possess the ability to be clairvoyant but it is lying dormant.  Often psychic abilities are masked by the personality self.  It is only when solid spiritual work is carried out that these abilities can truly be revealed to us.  If psychic abilities are developed before the soul is contacted, there is a real danger that the Ego will take over and the result is an inflated ego, creating a smug and self satisfied personality that is far removed from the soul qualities of compassion, caring and unconditional love.  It is therefore important to realise that psychic abilities are naturally part of the soul’s expression and are not part of the personality’s realm.  The soul self is genuinely highly intuitive, sensitive and receptive to subtle energies.</p>
<p>If development work is carried out without this understanding of the importance of the soul connection many problems can follow.  We have often come across stories of development groups that have been sitting for years without much real progress on the part of those sitting in them.  Frequently they are led by a strong-minded personal who lacks the esoteric training to understand that the soul connection is crucial to the progress of group members including themselves; or who is firmly embedded in old style techniques and training and is unable to let them go.</p>
<p>In the 21st Century we are working within very different energies to those of the 19th and 20th Centuries and we have to leave behind many of the techniques and approaches of those times.  They were extremely useful in their time and place but things have definitely moved on and it is time to embrace the new.  This does not mean that we should just reject everything that has been taught before, not at all, this would be crazy.  But it does mean that we need to revisit and review how we go about our spiritual development work and consider carefully whether the techniques being taught really fit with the present energies.</p>
<p>We have chosen a particular ability in response to a question recently asked by one of our students, which was ‘How do you set about developing the ability to scry using a crystal ball?’<br />
This lady had been trying to do this without any success and remarked that all the books seemed to suggest was that by spending fifteen minutes a day gazing into the crystal ball the ability to scry would just develop.  It is our observation that success in most things comes from honest and concentrated effort.  However, it can be helpful to have some sort of programme of work to adhere to as you begin this psychic development work.<br />
Remember that some people are just naturally clairvoyant and for them crystal gazing is easy.  It may be that you are lucky enough to possess the power of clairvoyancy without yet being aware of it and by following these exercises this will be activated enabling you to find your mission in this lifetime.  But there is another possibility – you may not be naturally clairvoyant and however long you gaze into the crystal nothing happens.  However, if this is the case, you are not wasting your time because following a programme of work of this nature develops your ability to control the mind and focus your thoughts at  will, rather than being distracted by every passing thought or change of mood.<br />
The term clairvoyance originally came from the French meaning ‘clear seeing.’  It is also sometimes referred to as second sight.  This form of sight though is little to do with your physical eyes, it is developed through the spiritual eyes.  One form of clairvoyance is crystal gazing or scrying.  Pictures are seen in the crystal ball, they come and go rather like dream images, that is to say the gazer cannot choose what to see although the scryer can sometimes focus on a particular subject.  Ideally you can use a clear quartz crystal, although you can get good results using a clear glass ball as well.  You will probably find that a ball of about 3 to 5 inches will be easiest to use as there is a wider range of vision and therefore your eyes will not tire so easily.<br />
It is essential that the ball is absolutely spotless before use.  So begin by cleansing your crystal.  Traditionally these balls were only exposed to moonlight and not to sunlight as it was thought that there was a magnetic link between the crystal and the Spiritual Realms which was facilitated by the moon’s influence.  For this reason the crystal was only used when the moon was waxing and not when waning and it was kept wrapped, usually in velvet and only taken out when it was to be used.<br />
	After cleansing, dedicate your crystal to scrying and use it only for that purpose.  If you have taken Reiki 2 with us, use the programming technique given in that class.  If not, then you will need to tune into the crystal and ask the intelligence which dwells within it to work with you develop the ability to scry through gazing.<br />
	You should be the only person to handle this crystal apart from those you read for.  Should you want to read for another person then ask them to hold the crystal before you begin.  After the reading, cleanse the crystal again.<br />
	Now begin to gaze, have the crystal about 20 inches away and find a comfortable position so that there is no strain as you let your gaze just rest on the crystal.  It is said that the best times for this work are at sunrise, in the middle of the day or at sunset and whilst the moon is increasing.  Do not gaze just after a heavy meal or you may find you just go to sleep.  Obviously do not take alcohol or drugs before gazing.  Your mental posture is very important during the gazing, you must cultivate three qualities: calmness, patience and persistence.  To develop clairvoyance you will need to pay attention to your lifestyle – taking sufficient exercise in the fresh air, eating healthily, sleeping regularly.  If you are ill do not attempt to gaze.  Choose an airy room where you will not be disturbed, preferably with a restful decor with subdued lighting.  It is best to be alone, sitting facing to the North.  Start with about 10 minutes per session for the first ten days and realise that developing this power may take some time.</p>

As a channel myself and a teacher of channelling for the last 16 years I hope I can offer you a few tips on learning to channel.</p>
<p>Here are my top five tips for becoming a clear channel for the highest possible spirit guide.</p>
<p>1. Relax!  Connecting with your guide is not as difficult as you think.  If you are tense and trying too hard it is difficult to get into the right frame of mind for connecting with your guide. Let go of fear, tension, worry and anxiety about channelling your guide.  Channelling is a natural and easy.</p>
<p>2. You are probably already channelling.  This may sound surprising, but most people I work with are already connecting with their guide.  Think about times when you found the words just coming out your mouth without even thinking about it.  Words that were exactly what the other person needed to hear at that moment.  When you are with someone who needs help or guidance your guide is usually with you.  Guides are loving and wise and they want to help others, so they find a way to put the ideas into your mind and the words into your mouth.</p>
<p>3. Learn to meditate.  If you do not already meditate, then now is the ideal time to begin.  When you are in a light meditative state it is easiest to connect with and channel your guide.  We do not teach deep trance states as a way of connecting, instead we focus on being calm, open and receptive.  A light meditative state is the way into these ways of being.  </p>
<p>4. Many of our students are concerned that they might connect with an entity that is not focused on their highest good or the highest good of those they are with.  The key to this is to set your intention to only connect to the highest possible guide every time you set your self up to channel.  If this is your concern then you can also use our techniques for psychic protection (click on the products section on the bar at the top of the page and then onto the psychic protection category on the right).  We have two lovely channelled meditations that you can use to set up the highest light energy to protect you day and night.  We have also recorded meditations for clearing negative energy and for connecting with your guide based on the meditations given in Lita de Alberdi’s book on channelling.</p>
<p>5. Read Lita de Alberdi’s book, Channelling: What it is and how to do it.  This little book if full of information about channelling based on years of channelling and teaching channelling.  It has been in print since it was first published and has just recently been translated into Dutch.  Not only is there a lot in the book about guides and connecting with guides but there are lots of very practical exercises that you can follow directly from it to help you to connect with your guide.  There is information on chakras, the aura, psychic protection, guides, meditation and lots more in the  book.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do you believe in angels? I do.  I have been privileged to feel their presence and influence all around and have done since I was a child.  When I was a very small I saw angels around my bed and I had a strong feeling that they were protecting me as I slept.  When I was about eight I saw an angel when I went to church with my school for the Harvest thanksgiving service.  I saw a wonderful shaft of light coming down from the high ceiling of the church and a shining angel was part of this heavenly light.  No-one else had noticed it.  After that I learned to keep quiet about my contact with angels, I realised that others were not open to this sort of experience.  </p>
<p>Working with my spirit guide Ortan I have been privileged to connect to all sorts of angels.  Together, we have channelled some wonderful meditations and processes for connecting with angels so that it is easy to sense their energy.</p>
<p>I believe the reason that people are so interested in angels and are seeing and communicating with angels now is because more and more people are becoming attuned to a spiritual view.  The angels can help us to open our hearts and to expand our capacity for love, this is the most important step you can take on your spiritual path.  By turning to your angel for support you can steady yourself, by spending a few moments making that connection you can avoid reacting perhaps in ways you might regret later.</p>
<p>What are angels?  Angels are very simple beings, they are very pure and very focussed.  Every angel has a particular vibration or task or mission.  So, for example, there are angels of healing, their work is to assist those of us who are working in the healing area to do our work.  Healing angels are often sensed by spiritual healers as they work, they are often seen as distinct colours and they can guide the hands of a healer as they work.  There are angels of courage, of truth, of discernment and lots more.</p>
<p>Everyone has a guardian angel just like the one I saw all those years ago as a child, many of the angel stories are about how these wonderful guardians protect and help those they watch over..  When we teach people to channel we often have at least one person in the group who is channelling an angel, this may be their guardian angel or it may not, but the energy of angels is very distinctive and very different from the energy of guides.  Angel energy is very light and sparkling and uplifting.  </p>
<p>Angels often do not speak a great deal, they communicate telepathically and through the frequencies of love.  They are often described as God’s messengers because they are so pure and unblemished.  I remember doing a reading with my guide Ortan for a lady about a couple of years ago now and she was put in touch with an experience she had had in a past life when an angel had come to her as a child. At that time she was very sad and lonely and one evening she looked out of the window into the garden and was astonished to see an angel standing there.  The angel smiled and reassured her telepathically that all was well and in that moment of remembrance the blessing of the angel was increased because she both received that reassurance as an innocent child in that past life, and she received that reassurance in this life again as the memory of that past life connection came flooding back to her.  It was a lovely experience, as angel experiences always are.  It is their joy to help us and to bring us help and comfort.</p>
<p>How do you connect with angels?  Become more sensitive, meditate, ask, experience. Angels say that one way they communicate with us is through what we think of as intuition, by making what seemed at the time as a chance decision.  For example, when you think of someone and call them.  Later you find that this was exactly the right time to call for one reason or another.  Angels also communicate with us through dreams at night, bringing ideas to the subconscious mind whilst the conscious mind is unguarded.  Another way they communicate is through revelations, such as when you are really working on something and you get stuck, the ego’s control of the mind can be weakened and then you can have a flash,an inspiring experience or idea. But the key thing is that you need to be open and allow such angelic communication.  Angels are trying to help you, they want to help your soul move through its growth as efficiently as possible.  The easiest way to connect with angels is to meditate regularly and to focus on your spiritual growth especially on working to open your heart and to become loving and open hearted.  Some people say that they feel the angels’ encouragement through a sudden sense of well being, of calm, of feeling embraced and frequently they say that they smell their angel – suddenly a wonderful fragrance comes out of nowhere and disappears quickly.</p>
<p><strong>Above all &#8211; lighten up, remember angels can fly because they take themselves lightly. </strong> </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>FOCUS ON A SOUL QUALITY &#8211; INTUITION<br />
Can you remember a time when you made a decision and at the time you made it you just ‘knew’ that your choice was not the right one?  Can you remember a time when you made a choice and then you absolutely ‘knew’ you had made the right one?  How did you ‘know’?  It was that small voice inside that we call intuition.</p>
<p>Intuition can be consciously developed.  One way to think about intuition is to consider the following proposition:  deep within each one of us is the Real Self.  This Self is wise and loving, kind and thoughtful, compassionate and patient; this Self is connected to the Higher Self and beyond to the Soul.  When we come into incarnation the Real Self becomes hidden beneath all the armour we create as our personality and our ego.  To live as the Real Self is part of the challenge of any spiritual path.  One technique for doing this is the ‘as if’ technique.  Hold a vision of your Real Self and then live your life ‘as if’ you are that Real Self.</p>
<p>So how does the Real Self live?  The Real Self looks out onto the world around without making any judgements, without wishing things were one way or another way.  It is the Personality Self that is riddled with wants and desires, the Real Self just <strong>is</strong>.  Many traditions talk about the ‘Monkey Mind’ – it seems to be a very apt term, this Mind just flits from one thing to another, it is wily, cunning and uncontrolled.  It resists discipline, it has opinions, it makes judgements, it chatters on and on.  </p>
<p>Because the Real Self is not involved in that internal conversation about how things should be or could be or might be, it is able to be in the moment, simply observing, simply being.  In the absence of the internal dialogue a space is created into which a real knowingness can develop and grow.  Imagine that the internal dialogue of the Personality Self is like a veil covering the radiant being underneath. When you stop the incessant chatter of the Personality you become your Real Self and you open the very real possibility of connecting with your Soul.  When you do that you immediately develop that ability we call intuition, because intuition is the small voice within that comes from the Real Self.  That Real Self is the part of you that could be described as the Divine Spark, the consciousness that is eternal, all-knowing and deeply loving; a true reflection of the Soul.</p>
<p>The ‘As If Technique’<br />
If we are using the ‘as if’ technique then, we simply observe everything that happens around us during the course of a day, we pretend that we are the Real Self living this life and act accordingly.  This does not mean that you have to be false in the way that you live when you do this, actually you are being more sincere because this Real Self is who you really are when the personality shuts up!  When you do this you may notice that thoughts come thick and fast at the beginning, especially thoughts about how silly this is, how it won’t work.  These are the thoughts that come from the Personality Self, just notice them and try very hard not to get involved.  Perhaps visualise these ongoing thoughts as being like a river, endlessly flowing.  The river flows past you but you are not carried away on it.  This technique is a form of ongoing meditation, because if you just let the thoughts arise without actually pursuing them, after a while they slow down and disappear.   This gives rise to a delightfully authentic state of being in the moment.</p>

This list is by no means exhaustive, but should you be experiencing some of these symptoms it is worth considering the possibility that you are attracting negative energy or psychic attack.<br />

<p>Some easy to follow suggestions –</p>
<p>1. Keep some haematite with you, carry it and cleanse it often.  This crystal can absorb negativity, especially useful when the problem comes from those who are critical of you or who belittle you or undermine you.<br />
2. Use pure incense or white sage to smoke out negative energies in your environment.  Light the incense or sage and make sure that the smoke is wafted in every room of your home or work environment.  As you do this set the intention that the smoke is dissolving the negative energies here.  Follow this by sounding a tingsha or sweet sounding bell or singing bowl seven times in each room you want to clear.  Let each sound last for a count of seven before sounding the next.<br />
3. Shower or bathe, set the intention to clear your energy.  Use cleansing oils like lavender and tea tree in the bath.<br />
4. Give away object that are unwanted gifts or that no longer seem to enhance the energy of your home.<br />
5. Listen to lovely uplifting music, dance and move to the music, let is flow through you, enjoy it.<br />
6. Go out into the sunshine, close your eyes and let the sun shine fully onto your face for at least two minutes.<br />
7. Make a delicious supper and share it with someone you love.<br />
8. Black tourmaline can send energy back to the sender, keep some in your right pocket or hold it in your right hand.  You can also put it under your pillow when you sleep.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you have read the previous posts oon <a href="http://schoolofthelivinglight.co.uk/what-is-meditation/">What is Meditation</a>? and <a href="http://schoolofthelivinglight.co.uk/learn-how-to-meditate/">Learn to Meditate</a> then the meditation described here is a good place to start.</p>
<p>First of all, make sure that you won’t  be interrupted for your meditation – so take the phone off the hook or put on the answering machine.  Ask other people in the household to give you half an hour or so without disturbance.  For some people this can present a problem, if so, then just take ten minutes or even five minutes to start with.  As you become more skilled you will find that you can literally meditate anywhere, but at the beginning it can be easy to get distracted.</p>
<p>Secondly, find a comfortable place to sit – you don’t need to sit cross legged, just concentrate on keeping the back upright, the knees just very slightly lower than the body and the feet firmly on the floor.  During the meditation resist the urge to scratch, to fidget, to adjust your posture – these can all be distractions.</p>
<ul>
<li>Now take about five minutes to relax your body.  Work through the body from the feet up to the head and imagine that you can just let go of the muscles, make sure that the stomach, the shoulders and the jaw are relaxed – these are places where we hold a lot of tension.</li>
<li>When you have done this then just bring your attention to your breathing, don’t try to change it, just notice the breath moving in and out of your body.  Observe as much as you can about your breathing – how does it feel as the breath moves in and out of the nostrils, where do you take the breath to in your body?  Stay with this for another five minutes or so.</li>
<li>Now imagine that you are outside in the sunshine, try to really get a sense of the light of the sun, warm, but not hot, shining down on you.  You might like to imagine that you are lying on a quiet beach soaking up the sun.  Imagine that you can breathe in the light of the sun, taking it into your body.  Let the light fill up every cell of your body as if you are drinking in light.  When you feel glowing and full of light, let that light move anywhere in your body where you feel that you are in need of healing.  Then let the light expand out, as if you are radiating light into the energy fields around your body so that you are imagining yourself glowing with light and health.  Stay with this part of the meditation for about ten minutes, really using your imagination to help you.</li>
<li>Now just bring your attention to your breath and on each in breath say to yourself, ‘Breathing in I am breathing in health,’ and on each out breath say to yourself, ‘Breathing out I am completely relaxed.’  As you do this try to really feel the truth of what you are asserting.  Do this for about twenty repetitions.</li>
<li>Let it all go and start to bring yourself back to the room, slowly and gently coming back, stamping your feet on the floor and opening your eyes.</li>
</ul>
<p>This meditation is a great way to start to experience the benefits of meditation at a physical and an emotional level.  Visualising light is a very powerful tool in self healing.  Just let your imagination be your friend as you begin meditation, you may not actually see light, but just feel it, that is fine.  Try doing this process two or three times a week for a month and notice the difference in how you feel before and after. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As a meditation teacher for many years, I am frequently approached by people who have really tried to meditate but they run into all sorts of difficulties in actually doing it.  Learning to meditate is just like learning any skill, you have to keep doing it even though at first your skill levels are low,  With practise you will get better at it.  Of course, just like taking up any new practise, there is the motivation problem.  For the first few days or weeks we are very keen, we rush to exercise or meditate or whatever we are trying to do, but somehow the motivation drops away and the enthusiasm fades and we move on to the next thing that takes our interest.  </p>
<p>One of the most difficult aspects of learning to meditate is perseverance.  You do not just sit down and meditate first time unless you are extremely lucky.  Many of the books on meditation instruct you to sit down and to ‘empty your mind.’  This is not something that comes easily to the Western person, we are trained to use our minds, to cultivate an active and analytical way of thinking, this is in direct contrast to the Eastern way of being, a mode where clearing the mind is a great deal easier for them to follow.  Because of this problem it is helpful if you are interested in taking up meditation to think of trying the methods that have been developed by Westerners rather than Eastern techniques to begin with.  By using guided visualisations and processes you can keep the mind busy, the mind is following the journey or process described and eventually this will liberate the consciousness.  When you have become used to sitting still and concentrating, then you can try the more advanced techniques.</p>
<p>One of the greatest mistakes we make is to think that the mind is the consciousness; the mind is the tool of consciousness but consciousness does not arise from the mind.  When you meditate the truth of this becomes clear.  For me this was a great breakthrough, my training as a scientist told me that the brain was everything and that my awareness arose from my mind, now I know this is not the case and I know this from direct experience.  When I have taught other people to meditate and asserted this, they always look sceptical, but after a few weeks of meditation they soon change their view!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Put simply, meditation is a way of slowing down – by sitting for maybe twenty or thirty minutes at a time, focusing on your chosen process, you can move into a space where you eventually may become blissfully unaware of time passing.  Meditation can be refreshing and nourishing as well as creating a sense of peace and inner harmony.  There is nothing new about meditation, it is a technique that has been followed for thousands of years.  Meditation is a practise that can bring tremendous benefits at all levels – it can help your physical health, your psychological health, your emotional health and your spiritual health.</p>
<p>Physically, through meditation, you can slow down the processes of your body.  Think of the great yogis who can slow down their heartbeat to practically nothing, you don’t need to go to these lengths, but when you move into a state of meditation, your heart rate does decrease and your body relaxes.  Your brain waves alter as well, they move from the normal waking wave patterns to slower, deeper waves which reflect the deep state of relaxation the mind can move into.  Meditation can also strengthen the immune system thus increasing your body’s ability to fight disease.</p>
<p>Emotionally, meditation brings calmness and serenity if practised regularly.  Detachment from the ups and downs of life is another corollary of a regular meditation practise.  One man I know said that after a few weeks of meditation he was coming to know himself quite differently, he saw himself with ‘new eyes’ and he didn’t altogether like what he saw.  When you practise meditation regularly the blinkers start to come off and you are enabled to see yourself from a new angle.  By doing this you become able to make changes to who you are at a psychological and an emotional level.  It is as if you are moving to a broader view through meditation.</p>
<p>Psychologically, the benefits of meditation are tremendous, bringing an increased ability to concentrate and to hold a focus.  Because of this, meditators are often very efficient and their job performance improves.</p>
<p>The ‘New Age’ movement is gathering tremendous momentum as thousands of people buy books, guided meditations and DVDs which urge us to take responsibility for ourselves and our health.  Many, many authors are urging us to take up meditation as a way into this.  Meditation is definitely a spiritual path as well.  It was meditation that led Buddha to become enlightened as he sat beneath the Bodhi tree.  Prayer is a form of meditation too.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many  people who come for readings with my guide Ortan, or to take classes with us, ask how I started to channel Ortan.  In fact Ortan was the second clearly individual guide that I channelled.  Before I started to work with Ortan I had a guide called Iskera.  Starting to channel a guide really challenged my sense of myself at a personality level.  It brought up a lot of fear, &#8220;Can I really do this?  People will think I am mad!&#8221;  Once I started though there was no looking back, it changed my life.</p>
<p>When I first channelled Iskera I found the experience deeply moving and I was unable to hold the frequency of the guide for more than about five minutes.  My partner asked Iskera about the purpose of our work together and at that point I lost it.  I cried and shook uncontrollably for several minutes afterwards &#8211; the physical impact of the energy of the guide was much stronger than I had expected and I had to readjust my energy to accommodate it.  The guide too has to adjust to the experience of the material world via the channel and this can take some time.  </p>
<p>The information is transmitted in pulses and these can be very concentrated and challenging to unscramble at first.  The main thing was the unconditional love and acceptance that channelling opened me up to.  This conscious connection with Iskera was made using some of the techniques channelled by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer and which we now incorporate in our  Opening to Channel classes.  Sanaya and Duane’s work has had a profound effect on my own spiritual development, Sanaya channels a guide called Orin and Duane channels a guide called DaBen.  I read all of Sanaya’s books and found them uplifting and very useful.  </p>
<p>I started to use the techniques in the Opening to Channel book but I wasn’t always sure whether it was me or my guide when I channelled.  I now realise that this is a very common problem at the beginning of conscious channelling.  This sort of channelling is where the channel is aware of what is going on. Up till then I had little or now awareness of what I was saying whilst I was connected with the higher realms, their techniques enabled me to develop as a conscious channel. </p>
<p>My work with my present guide Ortan began when my great friend, spiritual brother and teacher was dying of cancer.  We had known each other for many years.  At that time I was channelling Iskera.  This gentle and lovely guide stayed with me throughout the period of my friend&#8217;s dying and death and assisted me and others in coping with the funeral.  At this point Iskera&#8217;s work with me was done.  On the evening of my friend&#8217;s funeral, I went out into the garden of the house where he had died to watch the sunset.  I was accompanied by his partner and his sister.  I squatted in the garden and watched the sun, as it faded I became strongly aware of Iskera and saw my friend&#8217;s soul as a star speeding across the sky, Iskera explained that he was now free to rise through the planes.  Iskera also explained that now our work together was done.  It was very sad and I felt such a great sense of loss.  I had lost my dearest friend and now I was also losing my dearly loved guide.  </p>
<p>Soon I began to channel Ortan.  He explained that now it was my time to begin to teach, he was a teacher guide and this would be our work together.  At this point I realised that I now had to give up my ‘normal’ life and commit fully to my spiritual path.  This was when I started to teach spiritual growth and development classes, meditation classes and so on.  My focus with Ortan since then has been on teaching channelling and Awakening the Light Body classes as well as classes for those with fully awakened Light Bodies. Recently, Ortan and I have connected very strongly with the Angelic Kingdoms and I have channelled some really moving meditations for developing that Angelic connection.  This connection has been such a gift for me, as it follows on from my childhood experiences with the angels and develops this beautiful relationship.  </p>
<p>It was a big surprise when Ortan began bringing through the series of classes on Ascension.  At first I thought there was just one class, but more soon followed and we are still bringing new work through as the earth vibrations change in preparation for 2012 and 2025.</p>
<p>My experience of Ortan is as a very loving, wise and compassionate being.  When I channel him I am acutely aware of how incredibly loving he is, he stresses the importance of love very frequently, both self love and love for others.  He and I have worked so closely now for so long that I feel almost a part of him, but he continually surprises me when we work with those who come for readings with him.<br />
Over the years I have been privileged to give many readings to people, each reading we give is completely individual and I can never predict what will happen.  When I am channelling Ortan for these readings I am in a state of meditation, I move into a place of deep, deep peace and harmony and although I am have some awareness of what is being said, I feel little interest in it.  After readings it is rather like having had a dream, so that immediately afterwards I can remember what was said, but as time passes the experience fades.  I prefer it to be like this as I do not want to carry other people&#8217;s problems and issues about with me, and also their dialogue was with Ortan and not with me, I am just the means by which he is able to communicate with the people we work with.  I do not monitor what is said as by now I know I can trust Ortan&#8217;s tact, loving heart, gentleness and sensitivity to ensure that the person coming for the reading is taken care of, probably better than I could ever do.</p>
